Texas Health Fort Worth, a MAGNET facility, is looking for a full-time experienced Cath Lab RN to join their fast-paced, progressive Cath lab department with 6 Suites/Treatment rooms averaging 20 cases per day.

We are open 24/7 Monday through Friday, On-call requirements with 30 min distance response time; weekend and holiday call
Patient population: Adult patients with Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular or Electrophysiology related disease.
Responsibilities: Circulating RN + scrub and documentation role, administering moderate sedation for Cardiac, Peripheral angiograms and pacemakers, taking STEMI call for heart attacks

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs. BSN preferred.
RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing
Current BCLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA)
One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program
Current Cath Lab experience strongly preferred

Moderate Sedation skills and post procedural recovery preferred.
Knowledge of procedural sedation and sterile technique.
Cardiac/hemodynamic monitoring.

A high degree of confidentiality, positive inter-personal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Basic Computer skills preferred

Hours/Schedule: Full-time; 36 hrs/week; Sunday - Thursday night (7 PM - 7 AM). Weekend and holiday call required; after hour call required. Must have a thirty minute response time when on call.

Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care.
